Position overview:

The Senior Salesforce.com Administrator / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modifications to our existing salesforce.com environment, which includes Steelbrick CPQ, as well as integrations to adjacent enterprise applications and external partners. The system will continue to evolve at a rapid pace for the next 12-18 months, providing an opportunity to work on projects that will be creative, challenging and transformational for the company.  We operate in a highly dynamic environment that ensures variety and demands flexibility and a customer first attitude.

Specific roles and responsibilities:  

  • Designs, develops, tests, documents and deploys high quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform, employing industry best practices for development
  • Establishes governance and processes and procedures around change releases; manages all aspects of production release preparedness
  • Delivers support and solutions for system breaks/fix issues
  • Communicates and collaborates extensively cross functionally to understand business need and to develop acceptable technical solutions that reflect an understanding of the business priorities and user experience.
  • Supports Salesforce configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals, etc.


  • Minimum 5 years Salesforce development and administration experience required
  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or other related area of study
  • Salesforce.com developer certification highly preferred
  • Proven ability to leverage APEX, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, data loaders, SOQL, SOSL, and web services to design and deploy system capabilities
  • Experience implementing a developing with Sales and Service Clouds, as well as Communities
  • Experience with database software required
  • Proven ability to multi task and deliver results in a high paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven ability to operate with limited supervision and to deliver high quality solutions
  • Proven ability to develop creative approached to difficult challenges
  • Proven ability to understand business needs and develop system requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to  produce high-quality technical documentation and analysis
