Position Overview:

As software and digital subscriptions represent a growing percentage of our customer transactions, the need for us to optimize this function has increased accordingly. As such, Teaching Strategies Renewals Associate's mission is to ensure that our customers experience timely and efficient management of their subscription renewals as well as maintain a high level of success in customer retention.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively calls/emails customers, providing them with renewal subscription information via draft quotes or final orders
  • Manages lead lists/renewal portals to maximize time, effort and sales
  • Responds to customer inquiries; via email or phone regarding expiring subscription agreements
  • Inputs data into Salesforce.com ensuring that information is documented accurate
  • Responds to renewal inquiries from internal managers
  • Manages pipeline of renewal quotes
  • Develops innovative, new ways to reach renewable opportunities
  • Answer billing & minimal technical support questions
  • Follow up & collect renewal subscription payments


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of customer facing work experience with track record of success
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM solution is highly desired
  • Ability to effectively support all levels within a customer organization
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to partner with customers and employees in a tactful, poised and organized fashion
  • Proven problem solving and decision making skills a must
  • Highly responsive, self-motivated and able to act on own initiative
  • Commitment to follow up and follow through
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage high volume cliental and upkeep in fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn new technology applications with ease
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Adaptability to change in processes and or change in responsibilities within the role
  • Experience with sales pipeline and quota
  • Highly detailed and process orientated
