Position overview:

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical support role within the marketing team in three key areas: social media management, campaign planning and execution, and webinar management. The marketing specialist will manage logistics, scheduling, execution of live webinars and handle all post webinar follow-up including multilingual closed captioning of recordings and follow up emails. The marketing specialist will play a key role in daily social media management and strategy and work up to writing social media posts as product and market fluency grows.

Highly organized and a strong executor, they should have a passion for the education industry and an understanding of how technology and education intersect to drive innovation.

Specific roles and responsibilities:

  • Designs, builds, and implements webinar campaigns (managing logistics, scheduling, preparing, executing live webinars, and post webinar follow-up).
  • Daily social media management with Sprout Social including scheduling posts, monitoring social inboxes, monitoring social media engagement and analysis, and later drafting posts.
  • Works closely with product marketing, digital content, demand gen, and marketing operations teams to fully understand the product features, functionality, and enhancements.
  • Supports social media strategy and content to support prospecting and thought leadership efforts, campaign execution, and ongoing lifecycle management.
  • Assists in writing, image selection, and creating content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and email that supports product and demand generation marketing priorities.
  • Creates and modifies HTML for email templates and landing pages.
  • Defines and tracks project success metrics.
  • Gains fluency in product positioning and messaging for target audiences, differentiating products from competition.


  • Bachelor's degree (A degree in marketing, business, education, or liberal arts is preferable, but not required).
  • Ability to quickly master new technologies and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Basic or intermediate knowledge of HTML and/or CSS (preferable).
  • Experience building emails, webinar registration pages and forms a plus.
  • Ability to multitask with maximum flexibility and independence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative, creative, and challenging environment.
  • A can-do attitude with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to demonstrate creative decision-making and problem-solving.
