Marketing Coordinator (Full Time Contract, Entry Level)

We're looking for a Product Marketing Coordinator that will help us grow the ParentPal brand and improve the ParentPal app. You will be on the front line of listening to and understanding our customers, to help us provide the best possible experience in every aspect of ParentPal. You will partner closely with the Marketing and Product teams to respond to customer questions and reviews, develop and launch social media campaigns, inform business decisions, and ensure that the entire team has access to the best information about our customers.

How it will work:

  • Pay range: $20-$30 hourly (commensurate with experience)
  • This is a fully remote, full time contract position (hours will be PST time zone)
  • Start date ASAP
  • This position will be fully integrated into our small, but mighty team!

What you'll be doing:

  • Customer service, primarily via email, but also via social media, phone, and chat.
  • Assisting with social media including copywriting, asset coordination, and posting to ParentPal channels.
  • Sales reporting and data entry for app and campaign performance.
  • Brainstorm and work directly with the Marketing and Product teams to execute campaigns and content.
  • Keep up with market trends and insights from the types of communities. Communicate audience knowledge to the wider team.
  • Respond to customers' Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other channels. Report online reviews and customer feedback to the wider team.
  • Find opportunities to proactively engage and build relationships with the broader parenting industry.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business, Communications/Marketing, Childhood Development, or other related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in working in a collaborative environment.
  • Forward-thinking, well organized and has an obsession for detail.
  • Quick learner with spreadsheets, new apps, websites, and social media.
  • Passion for using technology to help families thrive!
