Position overview

The Junior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for maintaining and building customizations of the Salesforce platform in support of 300 end users of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform. He/She will work extensively within Salesforce and connected applications -- including Salesforce CPQ, Conga Composer, DocuSign, DemandTools, and Skedulo. He/She will partner with other departments to provide operational support for order processing and fulfillment, case management, and data maintenance, among other day-to-day business processes and one-time improvement initiatives.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage user profiles and permissions
  • Maintain existing and build new validation rules, workflows, processes, email templates, and other configurable attributes of the CRM implementation
  • Build custom reports & dashboards
  • Provide tier 1 support - Serve as first line of defense for all inbound questions or requests, including troubleshooting potential bugs and supporting end users' learning of the tool and processes
  • Support with data governance and data management per assigned rules and best practices to ensure the accuracy of the data in the CRM, including:
    • ETL processes to merge and migrate data from external sources into Salesforce
    • assignment of accounts & territories per management direction
    • set-up of new products
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes through use of Salesforce
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected users
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce experience as an end user is required; certified administrator is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required, with significant emphasis on Excel capabilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative, creative, and challenging environment
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from external/internal customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with maximum flexibility and independence
