Position Overview

The Content Development Associate develops and reviews written and web-based materials, professional development, and products for Teaching Strategies, LLC and occasionally may represent TS at conferences, meetings, and events. The Content Development Associate must have a degree in early childhood education. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Specific roles and responsibilities:

       Content Development

  • Researches, develops, writes, and reviews products and materials for TS
  • Provides content knowledge and expertise to various projects and initiatives
  • Assists Content Development with ongoing review of TS materials prepared by other departments
  • Collaborates with outside content development vendors
  • Works cross-departmentally to develop and review products and materials

       Professional Development and Marketing

  • Writes proposals and creates session materials for conferences and meetings
  • Develops and/or supports the development of training materials related to TS products both for online and face to face professional development.



  • Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required (preferably in early childhood education)
  • Three to five years teaching experience in early childhood classrooms; additional experience in early childhood program leadership/administration and adult education preferred
  • Working general knowledge of Teaching Strategies products strongly preferred
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to learn new technology applications and to incorporate technology into training sessions
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
