Position overview:

Supports multiple regions, the Renewals Associate Lead will work in our Bethesda office and will own, drive, and manage the renewal contract process for a high volume of customers, ensuring that our customers experience a timely and efficient renewal process.

Specific roles and responsibilities:  

  • Proactively calls customers, providing them with renewal product options
  • Prepares renewal quotes and quotes for additional subscription services
  • Partners with Customer Success on renewal process for key accounts
  • Assists Renewals Manager with creation and management of proactive team call and email campaigns
  • Responds to customer inquiries via email or phone regarding renewals-related customer requests
  • Manages a sales pipeline of renewal opportunities and accurately forecasts renewal and upsell business on an ongoing basis
  • Audits quotes and other associates' forecasts to ensure accuracy
  • Works with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Keeps detailed and accurate notes of customer interactions in Salesforce
  • When applicable, seeks appropriate approvals for exceptions to standard pricing and terms


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of customer facing work experience with track record of success
  • Experience in managing upsells and/or renewals with a SaaS-based product and/or technology preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM solution preferred
  • Ability to effectively support all levels within a customer organization
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a resourceful problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues as required
  • Highly responsive, self-motivated and able to act on own initiative
  • Commitment to follow up and follow through
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to learn new technology applications
